LGBT+ History Month is an opportunity to celebrate and commemorate the individuals and events which have shaped LGBT+ communities, as well as our collective history.

It also provides space for LGBT+ students to explore and articulate their own experiences, and a focus for the whole University community to discuss and address the on-going challenges facing LGBT+ communities in Britain and around the world.

The Students' Association's LGBT+ History Month celebrations take place during national LGBT+ History Month in February and are led by our LGBT+ Officer, who this year is Rosie Taylor, and our Trans and Non-Binary Officer, who this year is Elliot Byrom.

To see our events programme, plus a selection of other events from around the city, check out our What's On page.
