Scottish Peer Support Network
The Scottish Peer Support Network is a community set up this year by Edinburgh University Students' Association Department of Peer Learning & Support. We aim to being together staff and students from institutions across Scotland who have an interest in peer support.
Sign up to the Scottish Peer Support Listserv to receive up-to-date information on what’s happening in student-led academic learning across Scotland, and join the Scottish Peer Support Community!
The first Scottish Peer Support Network meeting of 2016 was held on Monday the 21 March 2016 at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
This time the Network included presentations from Katie Scott (University of Edinburgh) and Kathy Evertz (Carleton College, Minnesota) on evaluation models and practices, and on staff-student collaboration from Biomedical Sciences Academic Families here at the University of Edinburgh.
Creative Consultant Steve Earl also got us thinking about our main challenges and priorities in developing peer support schemes.
Please do get in touch if you would be interested in hosting a Scottish Peer Support Network meeting in the future.
