What’s it all about?
GeoPALS is a Peer Assisted Learning Scheme lead by students for students to enhance your student experience. In 2015/2016, GeoPALS will run for 1st year students throughout semesters 1 and 2. Sessions are led by honours students and are especially tailored to your needs and experiences.
We have regular lunch time sessions for each of the degree streams:
GeogPALS = Geography (single and joint honours)
EarthPALS = all Earth Science degree programmes
EcoPALS = Ecological & Environmental Sciences
Do you want to...
Meet other first years on your degree programme?
Ask current honours students your questions in an informal environment?
Make more of our facilities e.g. library, computing labs etc?
Write better essays and improve your study skills?
Make the most of your time at University?
GeoPALs is the answer!
How can I get involved?
No need to book, look at website for times, locations and session summary. GeoPALS student leaders will be at your Freshers’ welcome talks handing out information packs - they will be happy to answer your questions.
