Extraordinary motions have the power to censure an officer, amend the current democracy regulations, or submit a referendum proposal.
Extraordinary motions can be submtited to Student Council using the submission form below. You will need 40 student signatures.
An Extraordinary motion will pass at Student Council if it receives 67% or more of the total vote, at which point it becomes Students' Association policy. If an Extraordinary motion receives less than 67% of the vote, it shall not become Association policy. There are no online ballots for Extraordinary motions.
If the Extraordinary motion wishes to amend current regulations, it must pass at two consecutive Student Council meetings.
