The Vice President Education leads on the development of policy and campaigning positions that support the Students’ Association’s ongoing activity on the academic experience, including academic and pastoral support, assessment and feedback, learning and teaching, libraries and academic services, IT provision, quality enhancement, research support, employability, and many other issues.

     

    Past achievements have included the roll out of lecture recording across the University, securing the creation of a University working group focused on diversifying the curriculum, successfully lobbying for 27/7 access to the Main Library. 

     

    A key aspect to all the Sabbatical Officer roles is also ensuring that students are engaged with and involved in developing and implementing the Students’ Associations projects, policies and campaigns, and that students are consulted with to ensure that the organisation is representing their views on issues which affect them.
