If you self-define as a woman and are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of students like you, why not stand to be our Women’s Officer for 2019/20?

The Women’s Campaign exists to provide a safe space within Edinburgh University Students' Association where self-identifying women students can come together, discuss the issues affecting them, and campaign to improve their student experience.

As Women’s Officer you’ll have the opportunity to work on issues like tackling sexual harassment and violence, women in STEM, and women in leadership. You’ll also take a lead in organising a programme of events for International Women’s Day in March.

To see what the Women's Campaign has been up to this year, check out the Liberation Campaigns’ Facebook page and the Women Students at the University of Edinburgh Facebook group. For more information you can email women@eusa.ed.ac.uk.

In recognition of the work our Liberation Officers do, and the additional barriers they may face in taking up student representative roles, each Officer receives an honorarium of £1,200 which is paid in three payments across the year.
