Being an Activities Rep is an excellent opportunity to represent a large group of students and ensure the views and ideas of Societies are listened to.

 

Activities Representatives lead on the Students’ Association’s work in areas relevant to the groups you represent, including oversight on proposed Societies applications, Activities & Volunteering Funding Applications and various outreach projects to increase volunteering and planning the annual Student Awards to recognise and celebrate student activities and achievements. 

 

Postholders will also act as a representative of the Students’ Association to the groups they represent, ensuring they are aware of key events, campaigns, and activities which are taking place within the Students’ Association.

 

There are 14 Activities Representative positions, representing 14 categories of student societies. The following roles are available in these elections:

  • Activities Representative (Appreciation)
  • Activities Representative (Campaigning and Awareness)
  • Activities Representative (Dance, Music and Theatre)
  • Activities Representative (Employment, Transferable Skills and Finance)
  • Activities Representative (Faith, Belief Systems and Spiritual Development)
  • Activities Representative (Gaming and Roleplaying)
  • Activities Representative (International and Multicultural)
  • Activities Representative (Media and Broadcasting)
  • Activities Representative (Physical and Outdoor Activities)
  • Activities Representative (Political)
  • Activities Representative (Volunteering)
