There’re 44 fantastic positions open, so come along on 9 March to Potterrow from 6:30pm and find out the hotly anticipated results of this year’s Student Elections!

Our student elections give you the opportunity to shape the Students’ Association and the University, to gain new skills and make new friends!

Every March students stand for positions and are elected by their fellow students to represent them for a year. There are lots of positions to stand for from roles to represent students in your School or your society category, to Sabbatical Officer roles where you take a paid year out of your studies to lead the Students’ Association.

There are also Liberation Officer roles to represent groups of students who are traditionally underrepresented or discriminated against, and Section Rep positions for students who identify into groups such as parents, carers, international or part-time students.
