The safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance to us and as excited as we are to open, we are following the latest government guidelines to ensure we do so in the safest way possible.

We want to ensure you feel at ease when booking with us and enjoy your experience. Please read below for information on the measurements that we have taken throughout our venues at Teviot Row House, Potterrow, The Pleasance and King's Buildings.

Before You Arrive

Firstly, if you or someone you have been in contact with recently has symptoms of Covid-19, please do not come to our venues. The health and safety of our staff and all our customers are at the top of our priority.

In response to the added risks of COVID-19, our staff will have to submit a health questionnaire regularly before being allowed to work on site and will have their core temperature taken on attendance for shifts each day.

When You Arrive

For entry to the premises, we will be registering all customers on entry to ensure effective contact tracing of their visit. This will involve briefing customers on our procedures on site which include:

Maintaining social distancing of 1 metre at all times
Ordering from their table using our ordering app
Safe use of our one-way systems

All customers will be introduced to our automated contact tracing procedure with all tables having a QR code sticker on them. Customers will be asked to scan this and enter the date and time of their visit, their full name and a contact telephone number.

During Your Visit

We will have effective stewarding of customers both before entry, during their stay, and during their movement around the facilities open to them in place. To enhance this, we will be operating one-way systems for both entry and use of toilet facilities.

We ask all our guests to be vigilant with spatial awareness and adhere to a physical distance of 1m+ for your safety, other guests, our team and the community. If a guest does not adhere to these measures, they will be asked to leave the premises in the interest of others and the community.

Important Points to Consider

We ask all customers on arrival to our venues to abide by the socially distanced rules that we have all become used to.

When seated, orders and payment can be placed via our App, and our staff will deliver your order to your table. The tables have been socially distanced to keep you safe so please do not move any of the tables or furniture.

We will only be accepting Cashless Payments within our Bar's and Cafe's, and encourage cashless payments in our retail shops.

We look forward to welcoming you soon and hope you enjoy using our venues once again.
