Edinburgh University Literature Society strives to bring you an exciting programme of events, and to keep you abreast of literary developments in Edinburgh and the world beyond!

We offer multiple exciting one-off events throughout the year, including pub crawls, poetry slams, ceilidhs and our renowned Literature Society ball! We're keen to welcome new members to our committee so feel free to approach us if you're interested!

Also keep your ear to the ground for more author events and academic debates in the new year. In the past several years we've been fortunate enough to welcome speakers such as Will Self, A.L. Kennedy, Don Paterson, and Owen Jones. Other exciting new developments include broadened academic help sessions, and the introduction of reading and discussion groups.

Membership is open to both students and non-students.
