Our current timetable is as follows:
17.00-17.50 Hatha Flow with Niamh Hart. A gentle, beginner-friendly class with a focus on mindful movement and breath.
18.00-18.50 Freedom Flow with Elspeth Gower. Connect to your inner sense of freedom, a style that encourages you to find your own movement. More suited to those who have some level of yoga experience.
09.00-09.50 Functional Movement with Angus Knott. An energising, strengthening class that takes an anatomical approach. A fun and original practice.
18.00-18.50 Yin Yang with Peach. A class that pairs yin (relaxing into poses for longer, allowing for deep movement in the fascia) with yang (dynamic, heat-building movement).
17.00-17.50 Hatha Flow with Dawn Findley. A general flow that will calm, encompassing breathing, movement and meditation.
18.00-18.50 Vinyasa Flow with Melanie Kaye. Mobility exercises and complexity are layered throughout this strong , rhythmic practice.
09.00-09.50 Body Connection with Isobel Spence. Engage your mind, body and breath in an active flow that will build strength and flexibility.
17.00-17.50 Vinyasa Flow with Torzi Robinson. A classical practice following one-breath-one movement flow.
Our classes our exclusively for our members and cost £3 plus booking fee per session! Everyone is welcome, from beginners to practiced yogis! Our timetables featues a star rating to indicate which class you would feel most comfortable in. Being able to touch your toes or do a handstand is not the most important thing, respecting and listening to your body’s limits always comes first. Have a mat or towel handy, find a comfortable space to move around in at get ready to join our teachers for your virtual yoga class!
Our workshops offer members the opportunity to explore more unique and different styles of yoga, outside that of our weekly timetable. Different yogis come in and share their knowledge and practices. This can range from both balances to meditation, through to form adjustment sessions and specific muscle groups (eg. hip-opening, core, back).
Our upcoming workshop will focus on utilising the science behind yoga and hypnosis to help calm anxieties and deepen your practice. Kirsty Dickson will guide you through a 90 minute practice on Tuesday the 16th February 17.30-19.00. This workshop will be a strong vinyasa practice that pauses in restorative postures to delve into the science behind how yoga is benefitting you. Kirsty will also help you to begin carrying out self-hypnosis and highlight forms of pranayama which can deepen and shape your consciousness and awareness.

A weekend yoga retreat held at the University’s outdoor activity centre on Loch Tay, a beautiful and peaceful lodging away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Friday afternoon to Sunday evening is filled with outdoor activities such as kayaking, hill-walking, cycling, rowing or even just reading a good book along with morning and afternoon yoga practices and some evening meditation. Held in the new year, information on dates, prices etc. will be released closer to the time.
