Describes the Aims of the society, clauses and discipline guidelines.
If you would like to promote your society event on the Students' Association's What's On page, fill in this form
1. Links with Industry The UoE is rated in the Top 20 Universities by the QS world rankings and boasts an exceptional calibre of students. The Engineering Society works to build strong relations between the students and industry by organising talks, site visits and a direct means of advertising internships and graduate schemes to the next generation of Engineers.
2. Networking The University has over a thousand Engineering students covering all major disciplines. The society offers a chance for these students to network across all academic years and the opportunity to share advice on their degrees and work experience in a social context. Typical activities students can be involved in, are: the Engineering sports teams, Engineering Ball and socials throughout the year.
3. Academic Support The Society is committed to providing academic support to students new to the University. It can be a daunting prospect beginning your University career and the society aims to ease the transition from school to University by supporting first year students with their studies.
4. Engineering Sports Team
The Engineering FC enjoys a relaxed format and play within the Saturday Men's 11-aside league where they will be adhering to all COVID guidance.
