We are pleased to announce that The Mayfield Bar & Grill reopened in King’s Buildings House this week (following its reinstatement after the fire we had in April). We’re delighted to be back with some special deals…
ALL DAY, EVERYDAY
Regular hot drink and tray bake or pastry £3.00
TUESDAYS, 5PM 'TIL CLOSE
Quiz night burger and a pint of Tennent's lager, Magners cider, or soft drink £5.00
SOCIETY SPECIAL, WEDNESDAYS, 11.30am-3pm
Nom Nom has also reopened in association with Punjabi Junction serving their delicious, traditional Punjabi cuisine so you can try a delicious Pakora Variety Pack for just £4 or a curry for just £5! Punjabi Junction is a social enterprise aiming at empowering Sikh and other minority ethnic women to advance their own life opportunities – we’re so happy to be working with them!
Other services in King’s Buildings House, including KB Fitness, The Shop, Tempo and the Advice Place, are open as usual from Welcome Week.
However, unfortunately as a result of the fire, the Common Room & Kitchen area on the top floor will remain closed for the 2018/19 academic year. This is due to it being uneconomical to restore the area in light of the University’s plans for its refurbishment as part of the King’s Buildings Nucleus Plan.
