DaDa will be joining Birdhead for a one time gig in the mighty Wee Red Bar.
"The authentic, often overpowering rawness of their sound (Stephen Donkin's vocal echoes the distorted, staccato rawness of The Fall's Mark E Smith) and purposeful krautrock-style repetition of David Nicklen's drumming worked particularly well" **** - The Scotsman
Dada was born out of negative reaction to the horrors of music. Dada rejects reason and logic, prizing nonsense, irrationality and intuition. The origin of the name Dada is unclear; some believe that it is a nonsensical word. Others maintain that it originates from the Mancunian artists Dakshunt and the Maltese Danjeli, the two members of the group. The music is a mix of mad hiphop tunes with mono synth melodies and live drums.
