Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be a drag!
This Valentine’s Day, Edinburgh University Amnesty International Society, The Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA), and BLOGS - Edinburgh University’s LGBT+ Society - are hosting a night to remember at the Wee Red Bar.
This night is part of a month of programming as part of LGBT+ History Month!
Come on down and join us for a night of drag performances and dancing to the best LGBTQ+ DJ’s Edinburgh has to offer, for only £2! Bring your pals or your dates or whoever for a fun night of music you know and love! We encourage folks to dress in drag if you're comfortable doing so, in whichever way that means to you!
There will be a photo booth in support of the Scottish Transgender Alliance (STA). Specifically, we'll be supporting the STA's campaign for Equal Gender Recognition - you can find out more about it here: http://www.scottishtrans.org/equal/
Accessibility & Safe Space information:
This is a safe space event celebrating people of all genders and identities, and toilets will be gender neutral. Sexpression will also have a stall with safer sex items, consent materials, and more!
This event is wheelchair accessible. If you have any accessibility concerns please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Safe Space Policy applies to this event, and as such we do not tolerate any forms of racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and other oppressive speech or actions. Also, please remember that gender nonconforming attendees are not necessarily in drag and should not be automatically treated as such.
