Burgundy is known for producing some of the world's most exquisite expensive wines. The wines are stunningly complex, and are often considered the most spiritual, said to pose the deepest philosophical questions. They are also described in more romantic terms, with sipping them being compared to falling in love. In contrast, Rhone wines offer fearless, almost savage flavour, displaying spicy, dark flavours ready to explode with ferocity.
