Have you ever considered the value of student-led international development? Would you like to participate in a discussion to shape the future of a student-led development charity?

Welcome to EGP's 2nd webinar of the semester! For this week’s event, we will be welcoming several experts to the panel for a discussion of whether student-led international development can ever be truly effective. EGP is a student-led charity which has been run by student volunteers for the past 20 years. Although our charity has a wealth of experience under its belt, we strongly believe that we should remain critical of our processes and ensure they reflect best practice. EGP are excited to welcome Dr Augustin Diz to the panel; a Social Anthropology lecturer at the University of Edinburgh who specializes in the anthropology of Latin America. Secondly, we will welcome Dr SJ Cooper Knock – an international development lecturer here at the University of Edinburgh who has completed research on policing and punishment; law and social order; disaster response; and the politics of urban development.

Join us for an important discussion and a unique opportunity to get involved in the future of student-led development!
