Join three committee members in the first out of a series of virtual workshops that will run throughout the year. We're going to start with the basics - replanting spring onions. That's right, it's possible to give your used spring onions a SECOND lease of life!
Attendees will only require:
1. A washed-out, empty container. Glass or metal works best, e.g. a jam jar or tin can.
2. A spring onion. As simple as that!
Come with these two items, as well as any ideas about how we as university students can combat food waste. Throughout the workshop there will be a casual discussion on this topic, with the chance for anyone to contribute who would like to.
