Meet outside the Dirty Weekenders tool shed at the Pleasance Courtyard (in front of the Quaker Studio).
Here we'll be helping preserve one of the oldest managed Oak forests in the UK, by removing prickly holly trees which are choking this incredible historic landscape. Fun fact - Mary Queen of Scots walked through these very woods! It's a great way to get out and about, make new friends and have a break from city and student life. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us, but make sure you wear warm waterproof clothes and tough shoes. We will be walking a fair bit so bring your own water!
Join our Facebook group Edinburgh Dirty Weekenders for more details. Looking forward to seeing you!
Lunch and transport provided.
