Volunteering at the Hearty Squirrel Food Co-operative Stall

Thu 13 February 2020 11:00-17:00

Gordon Aikman Lecture Theatre Basement

The Hearty Squirrel is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit food cooperative at the University. We provide local, organic and affordable food such as seasonal vegetables, bread, eggs, and dried goods to students and staff (not squirrels…), as well as a unique experience and community for our volunteers.

As a volunteer, you help sort and sell our produce and you get a discount! You can volunteer for an hour or two, learn about how the co-op works, meet other volunteers, and you’ll be helping with a vital part of the co-op’s operation.

You can sign up for a specific slot here: https://doodle.com/poll/7iwndatg7eacif53 or just come along any time this Thursday (or any other).

More information on the Hearty Squirrel, what we do, what we offer can be found on our website: https://heartysquirreledinburgh.weebly.com/"
