Revitalising wellbeing: A Toolkit for supporting students who are coping with stress

Wed 13 November 2019 17:00-19:30

Room G.02, 50 George Square

The School of Languages, Literature and Cultures is hosting the Counselling service to look at how we can maintain good mental health and wellbeing. This is an interactive session looking at the common stresses of life and especially the stresses of being in an academic environment when the pressures pile up.

It offers a brief explanation of the physiological effects on us of stress building up, and then goes through several different practical examples of how we can manage our minds and bodies to maintain a more relaxed state. There will be soft drinks and snacks for everyone at this event.
