Redefining Leadership: LGBT+ Students

Wed 30 Jan 2019 18:00 - Thu 31 Jan 2019 19:30

Dining Room, Teviot Row House

What does it mean to be a leader? What does it take to inspire others? Could you take on a leadership position? Join us for an exploration of LGBT+ leadership to find out!

We’ll be expanding the definition of leadership, hearing from a diverse panel of leaders about their experiences, and exploring some of the leadership opportunities available through the Students’ Association.

Currently confirmed for this panel are:

  • Kai O'Doherty, VP Welfare 2018/19 and former LGBT+ Officer
  • Mridul Wadhwa, Training and Volunteer Coordinator at Rape Crisis Scotland
  • Sharon Cowan, Professor of Feminist and Queer Legal Studies

This session is for self-defining LGBT+ students. You can register on Eventbrite here. If you have any questions, please email liberation@eusa.ed.ac.uk.
