Have you noticed some people jumping around campus and climbing up walls and wondered what they were doing? Come to our Parkour Taster Session during Give-it-a-go week to find out what we are all about!
Contrary to popular belief it's not all about backflips...Parkour is about creative exploration and movement in the space around you! Come along and you will practise some parkour techniques and use them in your environment for some fun games and challenges! The session is open to everyone, whether you have never tried parkour before or have been doing it for years, we will adapt the challenges and techniques to suit you! All levels of fitness are also welcome, there is no such thing as being too unfit or weak for parkour: everyone needs to start somewhere and this New Year is your chance!
Please bring: - water bottle - trainers - clothes that you are comfortable moving in - several layers of clothes, since we are outdoors, in Scotland, in winter.
