Join students and staff for an open discussion exploring the ways in which mental illness has and continues to be a gendered phenomenon.

 

The discussion will focus on 'The Yellow Wall Paper' by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and feminist analysis of diagnoses of "hysteria" in the Progressive era.
