'Thriving or (just) Surviving'? a Workshop on Self-Care and Wellbeing

Thu 15 November 2018 16:30-17:30

Room 3.15, Charteris Land, Moray House School of Education

Join Frances Griffin from Place2Be for an interactive workshop exploring self-care and wellbeing.

Place2Be is a children's mental health charity currently working in partnership with Moray House School of Education, with the aim of equipping student teachers with the knowledge and skills to support pupils' mental health whilst also reflecting on their own practice, and building strategies for self-care.

Research shows that many of us consider self-care to be something we simply do not have time for, but it is vital that we all make the positive choice to prioritise our wellbeing and build resources that we can call on when things are tough.

This workshop will encourage participants to consider what self-care means to them as individuals, and how they can embed self-care practices in their daily lives.

Please reserve your place at this event via Eventbrite.
