Microaggressions and Mental Health

Mon 12 November 2018 12:00-14:00

Balcony Room, Teviot Row House

Join Students' Association Vice President Education Diva Mukherji for a workshop exploring the impact that microaggressions, and other forms of discrimination faced by marginalised groups, can have on individuals' mental health.

The session will provide students with the opportunity to share their own experiences, discuss any coping strategies they have developed, and build supportive networks across the University.

This workshop is open to all students and staff, but will focus on the experiences of students from marginalised groups including Black and Minority Ethnic (BME), disabled, LGBT+ and women students.
