Hope Virgo on Disordered Eating and Recovery

Fri 16 November 2018 17:00-19:00

Dining Room, Teviot Row House

Join author and mental health activist Hope Virgo for an exploration of eating disorders and recovery. Hope will be sharing her own experiences with anorexia, her journey to recovery, and the techniques she uses to stay well. Come along to learn more and find out how we can all help make the University a supportive space for students and staff who have experiences of disordered eating.

We’re excited to announce that we’re collaborating with Lighthouse Bookshop to offer a signing with Hope of her book ‘Stand Tall Little Girl’ which reviewers have described as “honest and brave” and “raw, emotional, ultimately life-affirming”.

If you would like to reserve a copy of the book in advance to guarantee you don’t miss out, you can do so via Eventbrite here.
