Ekobirds are a folk project that was started by Sam Thorne (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Piano) and Fiona Liddell (Vocals, Violin), but over the years has seen solo to quartet performances, featuring Alistair Mackey (Cajon, Vocals) and Jack Hinks (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals).

Primes are an Alternative Rock Band from Central Scotland. The Band consists of three members, Ollie Kitchen (Lead Vocals, Bass), Sarah Monteith-Skelton (Guitar, Vocals) and Reece Ryan (Drums, Vocals).

Primes were formed in November 2017 by band member Sarah. Coming from slightly different musical backgrounds, the band have come together and brought their experiences with them.

Although the band think their sound is unique, there are some huge musical influences in their sound and style of song writing. With driven choruses and memorable melodies the band takes influences from the bands such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Kings Of Leon, Placebo, Linkin Park and Twin Atlantic.

So far Primes has recorded their debut single "Breathe" at Chamber Studios in Edinburgh. Released in early 2018 and is available to stream or download. The official video is also available on all social media platforms.

The future is looking promising for Primes with live shows coming up and they will release their second single in spring 2018 with an official video.
