The 62 have been highly active in the Scottish music scene since their inception in January 2014. The band's eclectic tastes in music are channelled into a pop/rock sound with a modern twist. They aim is to create original, hook-filled rock via a blend of powerful vocals and energetic guitars, knitted together by a tightly-focused, vibrant rhythm section. The band released their debut E.P. 'The 62' in late 2014, and have recently completed the follow up 'II' which was released via iTunes, Spotify, AmazonMP3, Tidal and CD on 13th Feb 2017.
Skilled Embryo are a 4 piece ‘Post-punk/Indie ’ guitar based outfit.
Formed originally in the late 80’s in Alloa, Central Scotland they played multiple shows across the Central Belt from Glasgow to Edinburgh and amassed a regular following through continued gigging/festivals and recording before disbanding in 1992. Reforming at the end of 2015 with the original line up Skilled Embryo quickly polished their signature songs, as well as added new, updating the band’s sound before becoming show ready again to a sell-out audience at the ‘The Station Bar – Alloa in April 2016. This was quickly followed by a couple of outings playing shows at the legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow as recent as January 2018.
