Paws Against Stress, Therapets are Back!

The Students' Association, Student Counselling Service and Canine Concern Scotland Trust are working together to bring you Therapets – an afternoon with specially approved therapy dogs. The Therapets are here to help you feel less stressed over the exam period.

The physiological and psychological benefits of human-animal bonding have long been recognised. Recent research has also demonstrated that the mere act of stroking a dog (or cat, but no cats here, we’re afraid) has exceptional benefits, including slowing heart rate, reducing blood pressure, calming nerves, regulating breathing and elevating mood.

This terms Therapet sessions will take place:

Mon 4 Dec at Potterrow, Chaplaincy Service (upstairs) 1.30 - 3.30pm

Mon 11 Dec at Potterrow, Chaplaincy Service (upstairs), 1:30-3:30pm

You must have a ticket (one per person) if you’d like to attend. Tickets will be made available on this page on Friday 1 December 1 and Friday 8 December . For those of you who don’t snap up an online ticket, there will be a very limited number available at the event on the day from 1pm.
