Student rep posts should go further than
simply listening and include action. For
those of us paying full/partial tuition and
living costs, moving from just
information about jobs or finance into
services that result in
actions that lead to securing employment
and active management of our
money/finances are some of the most
important programs during our time here.
As part of this role, I want to listen to what priorities are and more importantly take
action now that leads to the services and
responsiveness that each of us requires for that next step beyond the university.
