Mu'azzamah Ahmad

Hi! I'm Muz, and I'm running for NUS Delegate for Edinburgh.

Currently, I am an Undergraduate Rep for Edinburgh Medical School, meaning I represent all medical students at Edinburgh by attending monthly Student Council, School Rep Forums and Medical Student's Council to facilitate changes and improvements in student experience. Examples of things I've done so far are successfully passing a motion for a free shuttle bus to  the Edinburgh BioQuarter from central campus, increase communication between staff and students via social media pages, assist in the running of Mental Health and Wellbeing Week at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and encourage people to get more involved with Representation and Democracy!

I've really enjoyed the role, and I feel that the next big step is to take my skills and expertise further from representing just medics to all students at the University, at a national level! I'm an enthusiastic individual open to ideas and facilitating changes, and I would be so excited to attend the National Conference on behalf of our fantastic students.

I'll work hard to make sure your voices are heard, so please vote for me!
