Workshops

Peer Learning and Support offer a wide range of workshops. Find out more here.

Edinburgh Pad Project

Learn a new skill, meet new people and make a difference! This workshop is a collaboration between Edinburgh Remakery and Edinburgh University Students’ Association Volunteering Service.

The pads made will be donated to The Homeless Period and Leith Food Bank. In this workshop you will learn basic sewing machine skills and get a pattern to take home to make pads yourself.

Most sanitary pads end up in landfill and take hundreds of years to degrade. Making reusable pads is a way to promote sustainability, while helping those in need.

Edinburgh Remakery is located at 127 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 8NP.

Students are often at the forefront of change and getting involved offers a great opportunity for students to develop their skills while forming key partnerships in local communities.
