About the Grant
Student Experience Grants are fantastic one-off contributions of up to £5,000 to support innovative projects and initiatives that will enhance students’ social, academic, intellectual, entrepreneurial, sporting or cultural development.
Please note that Student Experience Grants are administered by the University of Edinburgh's Grants Team, part of the University of Edinburgh Development and Alumni department. The Students' Association has no direct involvement in the assessment or distribution of the Student Experience Grants, however you may be required to approach a department or team within the Students' Association to act as a referee for you. Please read the eligibility criteria and guidance documents below for more information.
You must be a matriculated student for the full duration of your project. This requirement may be waived for the final year students who are applying for funding through the Student Experience Grants scheme. Students can only receive one grant per academic year. Student societies, social enterprises and sports clubs can only receive one grant per academic year. Societies and social enterprises must be recognised by Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA). Every application must have a referee who will be contacted to support the application.
There are restrictions on what you can apply for funding for. Please ensure to read through the Guidance Document accessible below for more information. Applications which do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
