Edinburgh Young Greens (EUYG) are the Young Greens society for students at The University of Edinburgh! The Young Greens are the youth wing of the Scottish Green Party.

Open to any student of any age or, those under the age of thirty. We are an active group campaigning for environmental and social justice.

You don’t have to be a full Scottish Green Party member to be part of EUYG but we’re closely linked to the city-wide Edinburgh Young Greens and nationwide Scottish Young Greens network so, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the wider party!

Keep up with our events by following our social media channels or asking to be added to our mailing list! :)

Green politics places a heavy emphasis on social and environmental justice. Scottish Greens policy covers the topics of climate change, fair wages, proper investment in social services, free buses, transpositivity and to ban fox hunting.

Since the late 1990s when the first Greens were elected to the Scottish and European Parliaments there has been a rapid growth in both membership and activity, as people from a range of backgrounds have decided that Green politics is for them. Be part of leading the change.
