UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH MAKE-UP AND SPECIAL EFFECTS SOCIETY

Welcome to the University of Edinburgh's Makeup and Special Effects EUSA page.

We here at EUMSE offer a wide range of events and socials for anyone that has an interest in the art of makeup. Whether you are a beginner or expert, we welcome everyone with open arms into our growing community.

As a new society last year, we strived to create a diverse range of events to cater for all. This varied from our halloween SFX tutorials to our extravagant Drag Queen Fundraiser. This hosted two Queens - the amazing Alice Rabbit and Demi Decay, and helped raise awareness for LGBT Scotland. There are also a range of tutorials and masterclasses which we offer to our members to help them learn new tips and tricks.

We are proud to say that we were nominated for Best New Society and the Interest and Appreciation Award at the EUSA Society Awards last year and can't wait to use our experiences to help create bigger and better events this coming year. Please come and join our EUMSE family, we can't wait to see what lies ahead.

SOCIAL MEDIA

EUMSE is highly active on several social media platforms, and is always interested in members (and potentially also non-members) contributing content to either our blog or YouTube channel. If you would like to promote your own blog, Instagram, YouTube or other social media sites owned by you, do not hesitate to either email us or shoot us a Facebook message – there is no harm in asking, and we are likely to say yes! We have already had people write blog posts and do YouTube videos for us.
And once again – as a little reminder – to stay updated with our events, make sure to bookmark this page as well as "like" our Facebook page, read our blog and follow us on Twitter, InstagramPinterest and our own YouTube channel.
