SOCIETY AIMS: The main aim of Edinburgh University Russian Society is to bring together those interested in different aspects of Russian culture. The society would also provide a social platform for both Russian speaking students, residents and guests as well as for people interested in Russian language, culture or heritage. The society would work with both within the university and the local community. For example by cooperating with local charity organizations such as Scotland-Russia Institute; we are also planning to host events devoted to Russian, Scottish and international holidays which would be open to everyone.
