Hello! Let’s get right to it: the primary objective of our society is to advocate for further scientific research of psychedelic substances, especially in the field of psychiatry. Why? Because psychedelic substances likely hold the potential for new, very effective psychiatric treatments for mental health problems such as PTSD, depression, and addictions. This has been confirmed by a number of small studies, but the harsh schedule I status of these drugs prevents large-scale scientific research and medical advancements from taking place. Many of our guest lecturers have worked on these studies - our multidisciplinary lecture series will be given by academics who have dedicated their careers to the advancement of psychedelic science.
If you have an interest in neuroscience, treating mental illness, or the exploration of the human consciousness, please take a look at our upcoming events on facebook or send us an email with any questions.
We wish you a good start to the semester and look forward to meeting you personally,
