Edinburgh University Latvian Society or LatS is a place for Latvians and anyone interested in our corner of the world to meet likeminded people and have a great time while learning about everything from our cuisine to politics, from the Latvian language to the strange superstitions our culture has to offer. We are here to help you get settled in if you have only just arrived (and help you find where to buy all the treats you might miss from Latvia), we are here to give you a breathing space during the exam season, and we are here to help you find a way to stay in touch with Latvia whilst in Scotland.
This is the perfect place to meet fellow Latvians or just hang out with some, statistically speaking, really tall people and celebrate the occasional holiday you might miss out on as well as receive some information from the Embassy of Latvia, Latvian Association in Scotland LaBS and other organisations.
