Hello and welcome to our page!
We're the International and Exchange Students Society (previously Edinburgh Exchange 360 and International Students Center). It's a social and support society for all Edinburgh University students, especially overseas students, those thinking of or on exchange or who just want to explore Scotland and meet people from around the world.
We organize many fun events throughout the year – balls, parties and holidays – but also regular meetups and informative talks. Our trips to the Scottish Highlands and beyond are our most popular item and frequently sell out! With hundreds of students regularly involved, it’s a perfect way to meet new people and make the most of the incredible international community in Edinburgh.
We've been around since 1995, ensuring a safe space for all students to belong to and supporting the needs of international students. Exchange 360 was founded in 2005 as a separate society, but with our merging, we're THE group to follow for the best global and worldly events!
If all of this sounds good and you want to get even more involved with us, why don't you sign up as a trip or lounge volunteer? Not only do you get the chance to meet other likeminded students from different, interesting backgrounds, you also get official recognition by the university's Edinburgh Award scheme and benefits for society-related events!
Last but not least, please do contact us if you have any questions, ideas to improve or want to collaborate!
