The Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group (EUSOG) was formed in 1961 and is one of a kind in Edinburgh. Striving to find the best talent both onstage and behind the scenes, we have produced many successful performances of the celebrated Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas.

We also have a history in contemporary and classic musicals which we perform in November and for the Edinburgh Fringe. We have received stellar reviews for our performances, including 'Spring Awakening' , 'Little Shop of Horrors' , 'Avenue Q' , 'The Addams Family', 'Company', 'Oliver!', and most recently our 5-star reviewed Fringe production of 'The Drowsy Chaperone'.

EUSOG is run entirely by students and gives members a chance to be involved in all aspect of the shows, from tech and stage design or management to performance on stage or in the band, costumes and make-up, directing or producing.

We are now accepting sign ups for auditions for our upcoming production of 'The Producers,' to take place in November 2018. For more information, please visit our Facebook event: and review our audition pack.
