Edinburgh Global Partnerships (EGP) - UoE is a university society associated to the student-run charity (Ediburgh Global Partnerships - SCIO) that facilitates international development opportunities. Our projects are conceived by local communities; volunteers fundraise throughout the year with their respective teams for the cost of the project they are involved in. As a volunteer, you then get to travel to the country during the summer to work alongside the local community to carry out the project.
This year we have projects in Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi and India.
EGP promotes volunteering in Edinburgh throughout the year so joining us is also a great way to volunteer locally. No experience is required, just plenty of enthusiasm!
To learn more, visit our website, http://www.egpscotland.org drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or, even better, come and chat to us at the societies fair!
Also, remember to look out for our presentation evening in October as well as our exciting events, fundraisers and socials throughout the year!
If you've missed out on joining at the beginning of the year please get in touch via email as there are often spaces open up on our volunteering projects throughout the year.
