Welcome to CompSoc, The University of Edinburgh’s best (and only) computing society
CompSoc is a student-run organization which provides avenues for collaboration, inspiration, and support to students interested in computing and information technologies. The main bulk of students are made up of informatics students, but all students are eligible to join. We mainly perform our duties through peer interaction as well as:
If you want to get involved, come along to either the Wednesday social, one of the Student TechMeetups, or any of our fresher’s week events. Membership costs £1 and lasts until you graduate, but that includes free entry to the Student TechMeetup, subsidised trips and tickets, and plenty of free pizza.
