Brass Band

 

EUBB are a non-auditioning brass band who welome brass and percussion players of all abilities. We play pieces from a wide variety of styles and composers. Major concerts are held twice a year, one at the end of each semester, with smaller concerts on occasion throughout both semesters. These help provide focus and drive towards a quality performance, and let's face it - wrapping tinsel around a tuba never grows old!

 

Our society recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, and we hope to continue our success long into the future. As a band we are friendly and have a busy social calendar which includes weekly post rehearsal pints in Teviot, pub crawls, weekends away and meals out - it's true what they say about brass bands and beer!

 

All brass band instruments are welcome: Cornet (or Trumpet), Soprano Cornet, Flugelhorn, Tenor Horn, Baritone Horn, Euphonium, Trombone, Bass Trombone, Eb Tuba, Bb Tuba and Percussion (Tuned or Kit players welcome).
