If you would like to promote your society event on the Students' Association's What's On page, fill in this form
You may be a student but that doesn't mean that you have to live off pot noodles and spaghetti hoops; there is far more to food than that! So if you would rather spend your free time between lectures making cakes and cookies (and eating them), then come and join us!??
The baking society is a fantastic one to join if you enjoy tea, cake, and a chat. We meet every Thursday evening where we share our bakes and vote for the best. We also have trips to local farmers’ markets, cafes and food shows.
Each week there is a theme and we bring baking to do with that theme, such as blueberry cheesecakes for American week and courgette cake for Vegetable week. If you don't want to bake, or don't have time, please just bring £1 if you’re a member or £2 if you’re not.
For a more detailed explanation of how BakeSoc works, please see this post on our website: http://thebakingsociety.wordpress.com/2012/09/18/how-the-baking-society-works/
And if you were wondering how to sign up, or had some problems while signing up, this post will guide you through the process: http://thebakingsociety.wordpress.com/2012/09/18/signing-up-to-the-baking-society/
