Founded in 2018, the Edinburgh University Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Society (EUPRASS) aims to advance education in all aspects of the specialty and promote understanding of contemporary surgical practice. Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty focusing on restoration or alteration of the human body. It has two main categories: cosmetic surgery and frequently forgotten, reconstructive surgery. Through EUPRASS events, tutorials and talks interested students get a chance to explore both of these sides of the specialty and appreciate the technological advances that have led it to the forefront of modern medicine in the recent decades.
Edinburgh University Students' Association is a charity (SC015800) and a company limited by guarantee (SC429897) registered in Scotland.
