Low risk activities

 

If you took our survey and were directed to this page, it means that your Society or group organises activities that are considered low risk. While the Students’ Association’s insurance policy covers some food-related activities, there are a number of steps you must take to protect your committee and members from unnecessary risks.

 
Checklist

As a Society that often engages in food-related activities, whether it is a BBQ in the Meadows or a bake sale to fundraise for your group, you must familiarise yourself with food hygiene standards. We have compiled a checklist that highlights the legal requirements for meeting our safety standards, and should be followed every time a student group handles food. You can download the checklist here.
