Welfare Forum
The Welfare Forum deals with issues which are of particular importance to many students. It deals with and campaigns on issues such as sexual and mental wellbeing, personal safety, accommodation, equal opportunities, and alcohol/drug awareness.
If you want to run a campaign on student mental health or for shorter waiting lists for student counselling then come along to the Welfare Committee.
An elected Convener (Callum Leslie) leads the Forum with support from the Vice President Societies and Activities (Emma Meehan).
How do you get involved?
All students are welcome to attend the Forum. You don't need to be an elected representative to come along. You can just turn up to any of the meetings.
Meetings are held monthly during Semesters, and normally last for around an hour. The next meeting will be on the 2nd February in Teviot Balcony Room.
