External Affairs Council

The External Affairs Council deals with things that affect students off campus and that are not under university or EUSA control. This means that it covers a wide range of student issues including the funding of the Higher Education, community issues, student debt and poverty, environmental issues, socially responsible (or ethical) investment, and student political participation. If you want to lobby the City of Edinburgh Council for cheaper bus passes for students or campaign for better student support from the Scottish Government then this is the Council for you.

How do you get involved?

All students are welcome to attend the Council. You don't have to be an elected representative to come along. Just turn up to the meeting.
