Edinburgh University students approved a new EUSA Constitution in November 2011. As a result, reps will be elected to Councils dealing with Academic, Student Welfare and issues external to the University.
Academic Council
The Academic Council campaigns to improve teaching and learning, academic support and resources at the University - ensuring that EUSA represents you through campaigning on your academic issues, lobbying the University and supporting student academic representation (including class reps) within the University.
Academic Council campaigns might seek to improve things like the amount and usefulness of feedback, ensuring that the personal tutor system works for students or promoting the use of podcasts by lecturers.
There are elected reps on the Academic Council, but any student can come along and get fully involved!
